Ookusayama Observatory

Ookusayama is a small mountain, with an altitude of only 113 m.
On top of Ookusayama, which is located on the shores of Lake Hamana, there is a viewing platform.

You can get a 360-degrees view from the observation deck.
A very beautiful view of Lake Hamana is spreading in front of your eyes.
If you’re lucky, it may be even possible to see Mount Fuji.

In addition, because of the beauty of the location, it is known as “Holy Land for Lovers” and many lovers visit this place.

You can go up to the top on the bicycle, but it is also possible to take the ropeway from the foot of the mountain. Since the slope of the hill is not too steep, everybody can climb it without much effort.
