Miwotsukushi Bridge

Miwotsukushi Bridge was built as a symbol of the Lake Hamana’s back cycling course and it is a bridge dedicated for bicycles.

“Miwotsukushi” is, in Japan, a label that was placed as a signpost indicating a role of an ancient lighthouse to inform about shallows.

This is a beautiful red bridge passing over the estuary of Miyakoda River flowing into Lake Hamana.
