Hamamatsu Tourist Volunteer Guide Office

We'd like to take you on a sightseeing tour of Hamamatsu. We can provide tour guides both for the regular tours and special request tours

* There is no fee for tour guides. However, each person is responsible for transportation and meal costs.

Ieyasu's walking path

  • A course: JR Hamamatsu Station > the well of Hidetada's birth place > Tsubakihime Kannon > Toshogu shrine > Hamamatsu Castle > Yoroikake no matsu(pine tree) > Gosha shrine, Suwa shrine
    • Tour takes two hours
  • B course: JR Hamamatsu Station > Hamamatsu Castle > Saigagake Museum > Fusaiji Temple > Seiraiin Temple > Sogein Temple > Tachiarai no Ike(pond)
    • Tour takes two hours and 30 minutes
  • A+B course : Tour takes four hours and 30 minutes, distance 6.5 kilometers

Hamamatsu Castle

  • JR Hamamatsu Station > Hamamatsu Castle
    • It takes 20 minutes on foot from JR Hamamatsu Station
    • It takes 5 minutes by bus from JR Hamamatsu Station North Exit bus terminal

Hamamatsu Festival Pavilion and Nakatajima Dunes

  • Hamamatsu Festival Pavilion / Nakatajima Dunes
    • Tour takes one hour and 30 minutes
    • it takes 15 minutes by bus from JR Hamamatsu Station north exit bus terminal
