Prior to choosing the location of your
convention, we can provide the following

The Hamamatsu Visitors and Convention Bureau Foundation supplies grants to
qualified conventions that will be held in Hamamatsu City.(500 yen will be granted
per hotel guest who stays overnight for conventions of at least 100 attendees.
The maximum grant is 500,000 yen.)
- Providing financial loans for
your conference.
Hamamatsu Visitors and Convention Bureau Foundation grants loans for preparation
on qualified conventions that will be held in Hamamatsu City. This loan applies
to conventions which use the main facilities in Hamamatsu. The convention must
be on a scale larger than the Tokai area and the period of preparation must
require more than 6 months. The maximum loan is 1,000,000 yen.
(However, the loan covers 20% or less of the total budget and is interest
free.)
- Assistance in negotiating with
governmental agencies, the local
press, associations and corporations.
We arrange and liaise with governmental agencies to gain the official approval
of Shizuoka Prefecture and Hamamatsu City and also we arrange and liaise with
the local press for advertisements.

On the day of the Convention
We support your convention to facilitate
smooth operations and to create
good memories for the future.
- Setting up Welcome Banners for
the attendees of qualified conventions
at the Shinkansen gate in JR Hamamatsu
Station.
(Convention events must be held in a main facility in Hamamatsu with at least
100 attendants and must be recognized as of benefit or interest to the general
public and those events should not be aimed at political or religious activities.)
- Providing and selling tourist
guide pamphlets and Convention bags,
etc.
We provide tourist guide pamphlets to help participants enjoy their stay
in Hamamatsu City.
- Discount coupons for admission
fees to cultural and tourist facilities
in Hamamatsu. 20%-10% discount on
admission fees is given for 19 cultural
and tourist locations. The discount
coupon can also be used as a convention
badge.
- Providing convention entertainment.
We can provide exclusive Hamamatsu entertainment for your receptions.
- Hamamatsu City Tourist Information
Center
We provide information on city tours and transportation at the Hamamatsu
City Tourist Information Center (open year around and designated by i mark )
to the west of the Shinkansen gate in JR Hamamatsu Station. We will put up Welcome
Stickers at restaurants in Hamamatsu City.

and volunteer interpreters.We introduce
volunteer interpreters for international
meetings and also volunteer tourist
guides for sightseeing tours after
the convention.
