The main convention facilities are located close to the city
center of Hamamatsu which ensures the availability and easy
access to accommodations and after convention events. It is
possible to choose the facility which best suits your convention
needs. The convention center,"ACT CITY HAMAMATSU" is convenient
and especially recommended. It is just in front of the JR Hamamatsu
Station and has three main convention facilities: the assembly
hall, exhibition hall, and hotel.
Act City Hamamatsu
Act City Hamamatsu is the
first general convention facility in Japan accessible directly
from the Shinkansen (the bullet train). This complex can provide
three most important factors for conferences: the Congress Center,the
Event Hall and hotel. There is a variety of services and support
available. Each facility is fully equipped. All facilities can
be used simultaneously suitable for large-scale conventions,
such as international conferences.
Access
When you get to Hamamatsu station, you
are almost in ACT itself and can enter the conference room without
getting rained on. The location of this facility is very convenient
not only for attendees but also for promoters.
Main Hall / Concert Hall
The Main Hall provides the latest equipment
controlled by computer and is able to produce variety with four
movable stages established for the first time in Japan. The
simultaneous interpretation of six languages is available. The
Main Hall accommodates 2,336 seats.
The Concert Hall has 1,030 seats and provides simultaneous interpretation
equipment for four languages. Every seat on the first floor
of each hall has a small writing table for attendees. Promoters
are capable of holding a variety of comfortable events for attendees.
Congress Center
The Congress Center contains 13 conference
rooms, which vary from a small-scale room holding up to 18 people,
to a large-scale room of a maximum 560 people. As the Congress
Center is easily accessed from the Main Hall and hotel, attendees
can move among them easily.
Exhibition and Event Hall
The multipurpose Exhibition and Event
Hall is suitable for exhibitions, trade fairs and a variety
of other events. The Hall is 100m by 35m and can be divided
into three rooms useful for smaller events.
Seminar and Exchange Center
The Seminar and Exchange Center has the
Musical Instrument Museum, the first facility of its kind established
in Japan, located in the same building. The Center provides
6 conference rooms, 4 seminar and exchange rooms and 14 seminar
rooms. All the rooms are available for meetings and other purposes.
