about Lake Hamana, one of Japanfs most outstanding
brackish lakes, and its complicated environment, abundant
wildlife, and diverse fisheries industry. You can watch
and learn about the living creatures inhabiting areas
from the Toda River to the Sea of Enshu. |

| One of the famous stops in Japan for migratory birds,
huge flocks of waterfowl pass the winter here and rare

watching the wild birds from the deck. |

| This museum features a wide variety of orgels. Including
huge 19th century orgels from Germany, there are about
60 musical instruments on display that play on their
own. Explanations and performances begin every 20 minutes
after the hour. There is even an area where you can
handle some instruments yourself. |

| During this season a special garden for called "Christmas
Fantasy" is open in the evening. You can enjoy
this garden until 9:00 p.m. from December 10 (Friday)
to December 12 (Sunday), December 17 (Friday) to December
19 (Sunday), and December 23 (Thursday) to December
25 (Saturday). In the huge "Crystal Palace"
greenhouse, a 10-meter Christmas tree is on display.
The pathway to the Crystal Palace is decorated with
Christmas lights, offering a truly joyous atmosphere.
You can also enjoy listening to flutes and violins at
the night concerts being held. |
